The AQUABION® limescale converter is a piece of pipe in which specially designed swirling chambers and a sacrificial anode are installed. The swirl chambers separate the water and sacrificial anode passively releases ions into the water (galvanic operating principle between anode and brass housing).
The ions released to the water form a bond with the lime. This results in significantly larger lime molecules that are neutral in terms of adhesion.
